It all started at Cameron.
My freshman year of high school I began volunteering at Cameron Community Ministries located in my hometown of Rochester, NY. Cameron is a center that provides various programs for the surrounding neighborhood families. Programs offered range from after school programs, summer safe haven camps, soup kitchens, and clothing drives.
I involved myself if each of the programs that Cameron offers. During this time I began to realize that all I wanted to do was assist my community in furthering and promoting education.
I go back to Cameron every chance I get to see the kids and volunteer during my various breaks from school. I credit Cameron, and the Rochester community, to sparking my enthusiasm in the field of education.

Plans for Summer 2013!
I officially will be working at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club this summer while I'm in Chicago! This is going to be an amazing fulfilling experience to have before I begin student teaching in the Fall 2013 semester.
